Our team is all registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Members include physicians, Advanced Life Support (ALS), Intermediate Life Support (ILS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified professionals, plus Emergency First Responders — alongside our Fire & Rescue and Safety volunteers.

People join PVES out of a passion for emergency medical services and a desire to give back to the community. Beyond front-line emergency response, volunteers contribute across Fundraising, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, Logistics, and Training — there's a role for every skill set.
